The Impact of ABF

I met Mike and Deborah seven years ago. I had just given my life to Christ, been set free from addiction, and was in a discipleship home. After I completed the discipleship program, Mike and Deborah generously provided for my tuition for two years of Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. Since then, I’ve received my doctorate in Theology, written two books, and am working on another. I recently moved to Santa Rosa Beach, where God has opened the door for me to minister in five county jails in the Florida Panhandle. I don’t know anyone who wants to go back to jail more than me. My favorite Google search is “Jails near me.” I’m preaching the Good News and building relationships with women who are where I have been. Jesus Christ is everything to me, or shall I say, we are everything to Him? I am so thankful for the Baileys and how Ashlynn’s life continues to bless women like me! Thank you for investing in me! I love you guys!

You believed in me, and that means so much!

My family and I are loving it out in McKinney, TX where we moved out here in March, 2020! We made a transition in June, 2022 to serve at Anchor Church in McKinney, Texas under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Jeff Jenkins where we exist to help people Know God, Discover their Purpose and Change their World! In August of 2022, I was hired on as the Dream Team Director where we were averaging 250 adults in attendance. We had about 75 active Dream Teamers. At the time, Anchor Church was meeting at Cockrill Middle School as a setup and takedown campus for seven years. On March 26, 2023, we moved into our new building where we immediately saw an increase to our church attendance. In May of 2023, I was asked to step into the role as Pastor of Adult MInistries where I now oversee our Dream Team of volunteers, small groups and all Next Steps. We now average 625 adults in attendance, with 271 active volunteers! My wife, Ashley, oversees our Hospitality Team and we are also involved in the marriage ministry here at Anchor! Our daughter, Addison is now 13 years old and plays French Horn at Cockrill’s band. She is also involved with the tech and production team, and Anchor Kids team where she helps lead the children’s service on Sundays. Our three boys, AJ, Asher and Arlo are all doing very well. Asher gave his life to Christ this year and got baptized on September 10, 2023! We are loving every opportunity to serve not just the church we are a part of, but the city that we live in. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing and volunteering at our local golf course where I continue to make connections and share the love of Jesus!
